I got myself a new dog, a dashound or daxie, reddish brown, about 9 years old and about 12 1/2 lbs. She was abandoned in a cage with 5 cats, so the SPCA did not know her name, so I named her Honey.
She is well behaved, does not bark much and I have grown very fond of her.
My dear Fluffy was very sick and was put to sleep Nov 24th after being with me for 11 years. I had found her in Toronto when she was about 2, so that she was 13 when she died. It broke my heart to have to put her to sleep, but she was so sick and would not recover, as per the Vet.
Adieu.

Knitting today
I had a collection of projects started by a friend that were given to me to finish. Muriel has had a stroke and is now in a nursing home. Her daughter gave me her projects to finish.
It is curious, these bags filled with the yarn, often the pattern and begun and left with the needles still attached. The one I am working on today is a blue knitted sweater. I do not have the original pattern, though it is still on the needles. The sweater is completed up to the arm holes, on a circular needle. And I have one sleeve finished. I started by dividing the stitches to work on the right side, leaving the rest of the stitches on the circular needle. I have two balls of yarn, not enough to finish the sweater, but I can take the yarn from the completed sleeve.
I will work on this and see how it goes.
Adieu.
